Tokyo is the capital of Japan. It is the center of Japanese economy, politics and culture. It is the world's largest metropolis, which has 13 million people. As I live in a small local city about 600kms(350miles) away from Tokyo, I feel as if I were an alien in the megalopolis, especially at night. Too many people, too many skyscrapers, too many shops. Too crowded, too bright even at night. However, or that is why I am attracted by the bright city, like moths attracted by light. I went to Tokyo on business in 2008 and 2009 and walked around in the most popular areas. I shot lots of photos on the streets in order to frame the cityscapes from the viewpoint of an alien. This book has included the selected 36 photos.
